Hours of Work: Days only working 9 hour shifts

The Company 
Our client is a leading artisan food production company that supply restaurant and supermarket chains with fresh produce. They are currently recruiting for Multi Skilled Engineers to help maintain and improve the fast paced PLC controlled automated production machinery. The machines onsite are all bespoke and include ovens, mixers, conveyors, baggers, wrappers, packaging machines, cranes and hoists.

The Candidate

Ideally we are looking for talented electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers with automated manufacturing experience. Experience gained within the Food Manufacturing industry would be highly desirable, but we will consider candidates from most engineering, maintenance or manufacturing environments. 

The successful engineers will have a time served apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline and a higher qualification such as C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC, OND/HND or Degree. 

Within the role of Electrically Biased/ Multi-Skilled Engineer you with be responsible for the maintenance of site equipment and systems in accordance with health and safety, quality and food hygiene standards. You will provide quick and effective, reactive breakdown maintenance of site equipment as well as being involved in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of all equipment. 

You will have previous experience within an engineering role, a proven history of fault finding, rectification and experience of maintenance techniques.

 

You will have worked with manufacturing equipment including but not exclusive to conveyors, robots, motors, wrappers, packaging machinery, grinders, ovens etc. 

You will need to have a good understanding of PLC’s with regards to fault finding and making minor modifications to the program.

Our Client, a well-established and growing Vauxhall dealer covering the Slough, Maidenhead and High Wycombe areas are recruiting for an Accountant to manage a team of 7 based at the Slough site.

 

The successful candidate must have experience from a similar role in the Motor Trade, ideally with Kerridge or Pinnacle software experience. Fully qualified or qualified by experience.

 

Key Tasks:

 

  • Producing full management accounts within 10 days of month end, supported by full balance reconciliations.
  • Management of the annual audit.
  • Maintaining relationships with all financial and tax authorities (including banks).
  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting and annual budgeting.
  • Monthly cost analysis against budget.
  • Daily banking, bank reconciliation and monthly payroll authorisation.
  • The submission of monthly composite to the manufacturer.
  • Control and reconciliation of manufacturer bonus debtors plus F&I debtors; including liaising with departments to ensure all monies are received.
  • Purchase control verification for Parts & subcontracted work.
  • VAT calculation and submission.
  • Attending monthly meetings to review debtors (Vehicle, cash and warranty)

 

The ideal candidate must be conversant with:

 

  • Bank reconciliation
  • Purchase Ledger – reconciling supplier statements & controlling monthly payments.
  • Payroll
  • Sales Ledger
